Class Descriptions
Body Sculpting Power Tone -
this class provides a great workout to develop strength, toning,
and endurance by working the upper and lower body unilaterally
and bilaterally, improving coordination, and enhancing
flexibility. The use of the resistance training tubes
offer progressive resistance levels for multiple fitness levels.
The tube allows for isolation of targeted muscle groups and full range of motion
exercise. It's a total body-conditioning
program. It is an intense ½-hour class.
Pilates -
An intense ½-hour floor workout. This class tones your
mid-section through a series of exercises focusing on your core muscles:
abs, thighs, butt and lower back. The only
requirement for this class is a mat or towel.
Power Yoga -
Beginner to intermediate level light stretching, breathing, and balancing
poses. A great relaxing way to strengthen and tone muscle while
alleviating pain and stress from the body. The only requirement for this class is a mat or
towel.
Aerobic Kickboxing -
Join us for a real kick, this class is composed of 75% kicking and
punching a free-standing target (no physical contact), focusing
on proper kicks and punches that build to more intense
combinations. Few exercise programs can get you in shape faster
and with more fun, than aerobic kickboxing. You will burn
calories, tone muscles, reduce tension and stress, tighten up
your waist line, and learn valuable techniques that can be used for self defense. You simply wear
regular workout clothes. Gloves and hand wraps are mandatory.
Cardio Karate -
Cardio Karate has fast become the hottest workout in America. Just
like Tae Bo, because it teaches you the practical techniques of
self-defense, in a high energy
class that's never boring like other workouts. Punches, Kicks,
Elbows, Knees - all done to music in a fun,
exciting way that ANYONE can learn. You can burn up
to 800 calories per class, tone muscles, fight fat, enhance
cardiovascular endurance, learn basic self- defense, release stress, and have fun. No physical
contact. Wear regular workout clothes, whatever you are comfortable working out in.
It's an all over total body workout. Gloves and hand wraps are mandatory.
