1989-93 – Started Training at Shin Karate training in Tang Soo Do and continued on at Hamilton Martial Arts reaching red belt.
2003 – Signed his sons, aged 4 and 7 up at Northeast Academy of Martial Arts. At this time he wanted to get them involved in martial arts for the discipline and training. After a month and with encouragement from Master Black to train with his sons he decided to start training again.
2006 – Received 1st Degree Black Belt – Shodan
2009 – Tested for 2nd Degree Black Belt – Ni Dan at the same time his older son, at 13, tested for his 1st Degree Black Belt – Sho Dan.
2010 – Received 2nd Degree Black Belt – Ni Dan
Mr. Baker enjoys breaking and as one of our breaking instructors assists with breaking classes and tournaments and has coordinated trips to the US Open Karate Tournament in Fl.
Mr. Baker also enjoys Ryukyu Kempo Pressure Point and Tuite/Small Circle JuJitsu theory and has attended several of Grandmaster George Dillman and Grandmaster Leon Jay seminars.
Mr. Baker loves training with his sons and hopes to see his younger son test for Black Belt
